Top 5 Places to Visit in Pakistan

Isn’t this the time of the year you plan your vacations? Well, looks like we have that sorted for you.

Pakistan is full of breathtaking sites which will make you fall in love with this country instantly. After looking at the list that we have compiled here, it will be difficult for you to believe that the spots exist in Pakistan.

1. Naltar Valley:

Situated 40km away from Gilgit, the too-good-to-be-true Naltar Valley is covered with tall pine trees. But what makes it really standout is the fact that it is ‘the place’ to go skiing in the country and the residents of the valley have skiing as an inborn talent. If you really want to experience paradise in this world, Naltar is that place. It will be a love-at-first-sight moment.

2. Neelum Valley:

For starters, Neelum Valley is home of breathtaking valleys of Azad Kashmir. It hosts several freshwater streams, forests, lush green mountains, trees with fresh fruits, and also a river. The valley is situated in the north-east of Muzaffarabad, running parallel to Kaghan Valley. The two valleys are only separated by snow-covered peaks.

 3. Shandur Top

Located in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Chitral region, Shandur Top is considered as the highest polo ground in the world. Now that’ a WOW! Although snow keeps the place covered in winter, this area turns into a lush green scenery in summer. 50 shades of Green to say the least? Every July, Shandur Polo Festival is held here, which not only attracts locals but tourists as well. It is difficult to get here in winters considering the heavy snowfall and slippery tracks, but it is accessible in summer.

4. Concordia:

Truly a Mountaineers Paradise (as it is called), is located in the extreme north of Pakistan along the border of China. Pakistan bears five of the tallest 14 mountain peaks of the world. Surprisingly, four of these are visible from our very own Concordia. The sunset here is a to-die-for sight as you witness the last rays of sunshine go down behind the tall mountain peaks.

5. Kalash Valley:

Resting in the Chitral District, the Kalasha tribe calls this place home. The valley is not only famous for its beauty but also the colorful lifestyle, distinct culture and festivals. If you wish to see life in its true meaning, then this is the place to go. This is indeed a wonderful place to go to in order to witness the diversities there exist between cultures in the same country.
